Observational Research
Base on the ten items that the user chose, it seems like the person likes the colour black and loves to stay organised.
From looking at the items the person uses ,the person really like luxury brands and has a biased on a specific brand such as Dior.Where the person got Dior bag,Dior wallet and lipstick.And the person seems to take seriously about looks as she loves beauty products.
Immersing Research
Based on the locations they mentioned, the person has a busy schedule throughout her week with university and work.The person only escape from stress is going to the beach where the person finds peacefulness and get some times themselves.
Engaging Research
Base on the interview, I had my focus on two objects which are very important for the person's daily life which are jewlleries and beach bag.
They values their jewelleries,loves to bring it everywhere and the user loves to put everything essential to them into one bag which I chose to remodel her beach bag.
Interview Questions and Responses
1.Could you name one thing that holds the most value for you?
I would say jewellery, as I enjoy taking care of them and displaying my collection.
2.What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach for a walk or simply to get some fresh air, helping me escape from stress and step into my comfort zone.
3.Are there any specific activities you particularly enjoy doing at the beach?
I enjoy playing volleyball at the beach, taking leisurely walks, and sometimes, having a picnic with friends by the beach.
4. Can you share a memorable experience you've had at the beach? Aside from going to the beach, I enjoy doing makeup to enhance my appearance, which really boosts my self-esteem and confidence.
5. Do you prefer going to the beach alone or with friends? I remember one time when I was really sad about losing an earring that my mom had given me. She offered to buy me another one, but I felt attached to the original. I was so upset that I lost it in the sand at the beach, and it was never found.
6. Is there one item that you consider a "must-have" when you go to the beach? It depends. Sometimes, when I'm stressed or feeling down, I enjoy spending time alone at the beach. However, I also like going there with friends to play games and have picnics together.
7. Did you encounter any challenges or problems while visiting the beach? Probably my beach bag, where I put literally everything I need. It's quite spacious, allowing me to carry a lot of items.
8. Do you have any specific preferences or designs in mind for a bag? Anything you'd like to improve? I have a habit of bringing my jewellery with me everywhere. When I go to the beach, I worry that they might get damaged or lost.
9. Aside from these activities, what other hobbies or interests do you enjoy? Perhaps a bag that can keep my jewellery safe and has more pockets for additional items.
10. Do you have a dream bag in mind that you would like to own?
My dream bag would combine my favourite activities. It would have a vanity so I can get ready and look good at any time, and a jewellery case that I can take everywhere, including the beach, since it's my favourite place to go.
11. When it comes to vanity, do you prefer one with a lot of shelves or a simpler design in your house?
In my house, the vanity I have right now is simple, but I would prefer to have more shelves. I like to keep my things organised and enjoy displaying them. Personally, I prefer a vanity with a lot of shelves.
Interview Observation
From the interview i found out that the user really value her belongings such as jewelleries and loves to showcase her collection. The person seems to go to beaches a lot whenever they feel like it.And the most important things for the person were jewelleries and her bag with she likes to bring it everywhere they goes and the person is afraid that they might lose it or damage it .As the person really enjoys going to the beach, i came up with ideas on how i can improve the existing object from the person’s object inventory.

Speaker Bag
Consist of a foldable bag with a speaker built inside where it powers with solar panel. It has 2 foldable shelves where you swing out the support to make it stable on each side of the bag. They can simply unfold the bag by detaching tabs with magnets built inside making it secure. It has buttons that you can control the speakers. When the user finishes using it, they can simply fold back the tabs and attach the magnet tabs and they’re ready to go.
Foldable Chair
It has pockets on both sides where the user can put more stuff. The user can unzip and fold down the front tab. Then the user can pull out the legs and fold out and twist the arm rest which has a spot for cupholder. Once they’re done, they can fold in the armrest and the legs. They can fold up and zip the tabs together, and they’re ready to go.
Vanity Bag
It has a foldable wheels and adjustable handle making it easier for the user. The user can simply unzip and fold down the bag. Then folding out the side mirrors will complete the setup. The vanity bag consists of large mirror, set of drawers and storage for jewelleries. Once they’re done, they can close, fold up everything, zip and they pull out the wheels from the bottom. And lastly, pulling out the handle and they can go anywhere they want effortlessly.
Beach Mat Bag
The bag has detachable Velcro pocket attachments where they have choices of what pocket they want to attach on the side of the bags and have two shoe hooks at the backside. They can detach the snaps and fold out the bag, roll out the folded beach mat where they can relax on the beach. Inside, it has pockets and hooks to store their valuable things such as phones, jewelleries.
Table and Chair set
The bag has detachable seats for two. Simply unzip the bag and pulling out the foldable legs will make a table where two of the sides are connected by hinge.
Activity Bag
It has solar panel outside for the screen inside the bag to generate. Simply fold down the front panel and expand the folded storage units. It has a zigzag style folding so it can fit more things in one place. In one of the pockets, comes with game boards where user can place on the magnetic tab so the wind won’s blow it away easily. It also has a screen and a DVD player where the user can enjoy watching movie with friends.

The final design I came up with is a vanity bag.Where it has adjustable handle and Foldable wheels making it easier for the user to use.The user can bring it effortlessly to their destination as it has a similar design concept to luggage.Once they arrived to the spot, simply push down the handle and put the wheels inwards.Then they can unzip and pull out the side mirrors and it’s ready to use It has a-lot of storage unit such as a set of drawers and a unit for storing jewelries where it has a acrylic lid that has a magnet built in making it easier for the user.Once they’re done just simply close lids, fold back mirrors , unfold the wheels ,pull the handle and they’re ready to head out.
